Road to YCS Toronto Day 2

Hello Yu-Gi-Oh players! This isn't really day 2 on my road to YCS. I have been practicing for this event for some time now. Of course I like most people practiced under the first confirmed ban list to come out. Thinking that the OCG ban list was going to be the same as the TCG ban list.  So while I was out and was texted words of a separate ban list....my heart sank....And originally my first impression was....gosh darnit....so much for topping; But then I started to think about it. What was my deck of choice? Inzektors. Aside from Monster Reborn and Heavy Storm getting banned, the deck is still pretty much the same. Nothings changed.

The deck still operates the same. It hasn't deviated. The deck needs to get creative in order to obtain the dragonfly/hornet, but overall the deck is the same. So I took it upon myself to create a build that can do the archetype some justice.

I finally got used to my bad match-ups and how exactly I should play against them with my build. It takes creativity though. I hate die rolls. I designed the deck so that way it's irrelevant going first or second. I always seem to lose die rolls so I gave up on that.

I am more or less comfortable with the Plant Ruler match-up now. That was decided to be a very tough match-up especially because of their rising numbers. Going up against the deck will force you into magnificently gusty plays. A lot of thinking is required. I have come to be victorious against them. The only thing that sucks with Inzektors is that the deck slows down even more after siding. So you have to be careful with that. Which is why if you win game 1; game 2 could look a little troublesome. Going first is key. It's the set-up prior to that will assist you. If not, keeping track of the dragons easily helps a bunch. If you can keep track of whats left in the deck to the odds of whats in their hand and whats in grave and whats banished, you easily can make devastating blows.  Just like with any deck; just use your head. That's the best advice I could ever give you.

So how my last night Plant Ruler match went down was

Match #1:Inzektors VS Plant Ruler
Verdict:2-1 Win
I lost Rock,Paper,Scissors. I won game 1. I lost game 2. I won game 3.

Now a bit more testing happened today and it went like this

Match #2: Inzektors VS Mecha Phantom Beast
Verdict:2-0 Win

Match #3:Inzektors VS Blackwings
Verdict:2-0 Win

Match #4: Inzektors VS Zombies
Verdict:2-0 Win

YCS Toronto is coming up! remember regardless of how I do, I will post up my deck profile afterwards. If I make it to day 2, I will post my deck list after day2 wraps up. If I don't make day 2, I will post my deck up after day 1.
